operated FR2752/2753 from/to Stansted for the ninth
consecutive rotation (and final time?) during the
morning. Boeing 737-200s are expected to be replaced by
737-300s from Monday 5th July until the end of the
summer schedule.

movements of note during a breezy day were limited to
Robin G-PACE (main apron) and Bulldog G-BZON/XX528 to
ANT.
An
unsuccessful attempt was made to move HS748 "ZS-ODJ"
under its own steam for ground engine runs during the
evening, after the aircraft encountered a hydraulic
fault.

Line Dornier 328JET N328PT touched unexpectedly down
from Oberpfaffenhofen,
Germany shortly after midday, becoming a first visit of
type. After a two hour stay on the main apron the
aircraft departed to Bolzano, Italy with freight.
Austrian
Air Force C130 Hercules 8T-CC trained on the ILS during
the afternoon as "Bull 01". The aircraft is no
stranger to Blackpool having previously served with the
RAF as XV292.
